The endangered Hangul of Kashmir Stag and several other Himalayan animal species may be seen at Dachigam National Park, which is located a little more than 22 kilometers from the capital city of Srinagar. Dachigam Wildlife Sanctuary in Jammu and Kashmir is one of the top destinations for nature enthusiasts close to Srinagar because of its unique flora and fauna.
The park is embellished by the Sangargulu Valley, which forms its upper domain, and the Dagwan River, which flows through it. The Dachigam National Park's Sangargulu Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, is a great place to go hiking if you want to see leopards and koklas pheasants.

A haven for birdwatchers, Dachigam National Park is home to a variety of avifauna, including the Cinnamon Sparrow, Black Bulbul, Himalayan Monal, and Golden Oriole, and many others.
